Soapbox:
It was fun. I must thank K0RF for pulling me out at the end of the
contest for my zone 4 multiplier on 20 meters. Thanks. And thank you to
all the stations who pulled me out of the noise. I know of one contact
where it took 5 minutes and 49 seconds just for the other station to get
my callsign and exchange! But he didn't give up on me and I thank him for
that.

Funny things I heard:
I was CQing on 10m for about 10 meters and some guy came back to me and
said you "SISSY" why don't you run high power so I turned up the power
for him and he came back immediately with a callsign and commented that I
was very loud but I DIDN'T log him because that would be against the
rules. It turned out that it was a needed zone 3 multiplier! But hey
they'll be other contest.
I also heard a EU station calling for only JA and all he got back was USA
and the EU operator commented "What's going on here, you aren't JA" and
he left the frequency.
I was in the middle of CQing on 20 meters and had a few comebacks when a
BIG GUN from EU came back and instead of leaving the frequency he started
calling CQ on my frequency. But O'well. I can't wait to operate from a
big gun's station.
Wish I had the new callsign in time for the contest WOULDV'E BEEN A GOOD
TEST DRIVE but again maybe next time and O'well.
