Comments:
Because of other commitments, I didn't get started until 2345Z. By that
time there was nothing on 15 or 10, and 20m died soon after. Very casual
operation with major breaks even after I got started.
The good ears award to anyone who worked me on 160m outside of California.
160m antenna consisted of coax between shack and 80m rotatable dipole, but
since the tower was down, this coax has many hanging loops (maybe some sort
of linear loading effect). I completed some 160m QSOs while the transceiver
autotuner was still hunting for a match, and the SWR meter was pegged. I'm
amazed anyone heard me.
