We arrived at the swamp at noon. Spent the rest of the day to put up the
transmit antenna, and all day Friday to put up 2 beverages. Started the
contest exhausted. Poor conditions and, as we all know, very high noise in
the South, provided little incentive to stay awake the first night.
Saturday's highlight was working A71CW. At least I knew that everything was
working. We also managed a 3 hour motor boat excursion of the swamp
Saturday afternoon.
73's
Neal
