My annual S&P contest--chase the packet spots and work the DX.
Since it's the only one of the big 4 DX contests I get to use my own
call, it's my chance to work new DX. (I don't play radio unless it's
a contest.) I did pretty well: 52 new band-mode countries.
19 new band countries including one all time new one. Tnx ZS8IR!
Did a few hours of CQing on 20M. I had set a goal of 1000 Q's for
this year and maybe 1 MEG points next year. Since I broke both goals
early in the contest, I went home to console my girlfriend who never
gets to see me on the weekends anymore.
SU2MT was the last Q in the log. Figured that's a good note to end on.
