Comments:
Thanks to Jim, WA3FET, and Nathan, NW3Z, for getting the station
ready and allowing me to operate. They spent most of Thursday getting all
the antennas ready, hunting down a problem with the NE Beverage(flawless in
test), and getting the shack set-up. I was wiped out on Wednesday due to
the flu, but had recovered enough to do the contest. I think I've found
the cure for the flu/cold...or at least a relief for the symptoms...running
Europeans on 80 at 100+ clips!!!! Sure makes you forget about the
coughing, sneezing, stuffy nose, body aches, etc...etc...
We found out in the contest that we have a definate hearing problem
to the Pacific(and Asia)...only mults worked in that direction were KH6 and
VK. Hope to have this problem fixed before ARRL Phone.
