Saturday couldn't have been much slower! Worked about 15 EU guys, all far
north. Sunday it finally opened for us to EU, with a decent "run" on 20.
JA's weren't as strong as usual, in fact Friday evening on 20 was dismal.
But 40 opening was better to JA.
Glad to see all of the activity from HL land! Bodes well for us left
coasters. Now if we could just get the BV/Y's aboard.
Unique contest event - working 3 9K2's within 20 minutes. Doesn't happen
often!
Other unique event - major wind storm (60 mph on ground) occured at about
noon Sunday. After contest, we noticed that upper guy had snapped on
K7RI's 85' tower, right at the seizing to the tower. Whew, doesn't get
much closer than that!! Think that 20 year old installation is due for
maintenance!!!
