It was a real test of propagation knowledge, being vigilance on all bands
and band change strategy decisions. The 40M/20M decision was the challenging
one ! It was frustrating at local sunrise to hear 20M Europeans and not be
heard by them until 90 minutes later. We also did not experience a
"over-the-pole" opening on 20M to run-up Russian prefixes this year. JA
overall QSO count also down.
The WPX contest over the years was always been a "rate race" for us ?. The
Easter celebrations may have impacted causal participation.

Until next year ?.73 from Team VE6SV Gord VE6SV, Gerry VE6NAP, Max VO1CV
