What can I say! Two contests in a row with solar storms that made it
tough sledding. The low bands were a waste. Even our American friends to the
south were out of the picture, with only the loudest stations heard in VE5
land. Sunday had 10 and 15 open for a while,about the same as Sat, at the start
of the day and even showed some life to the west in the late afternoon.
Too bad there is not a large population in the Pacfic!.
20 was the most productive band, but it was always a struggle and the opening to
Eu from here was very short - only about a hand full of contacts to EU either
day.
Thanks to all those who dropped by and passed out the Q's. Hope Sweepstakes has
better luck next weekend.
