Soapbox

Not much time to prepare for this one.
Had company from Japan Friday nite, basketball practice Saturday and many
"beat the snow" chores all weekend. Decided that there was no chance of
doing a full scale attack so attempted to maximize the Mults per QSO index.

Ended up with 1.8 Q's per Mult. Best DX was VQ9IO and 3B8/DL9 something.
3B8 is about as far away from Ephrata WA as you can geographically get.
Best moment was breaking the HUGE pile-up on A45XR with one call.
Worst moment was Sunday morning on 80 when out of the static came "hisssss
crackle .....59921..QRZ...A6....hisssss". The sun was up here and I about
fell out of my chair! Another jolt was working B1Z, JT1A and S50A all
after sunrise on 80!
My mind kept telling me "HS0A" instead of "S50A". Things got re-aligned
when the "15" came across for the zone.

All in all a good, fun part time effort.
