New 15m DL record (though only by a few points)! I did not really
expect such a solid W6-opening this year, but the JA's were runnable
only for about 2 hours each day. On Sat they were stronger long path
but echos were too loud to copy anyone faster than 25 WPM or so. Heard
AH2R calling mults both mornings, on which band were they CQing all
the time? Glad to snag HC8N as a double mult just before the lights
went off here. Guess I had been calling him for more than 30 min Sat
night when he was running NA.
Anybody worked KL7 or zone 29? I ran across KH7R by accident while
looking for a new CQ freq so the path might have been open..
