Just a casual effort due to the usual and additional holiday obligations. Spent
some time above 28100 calling CQ at 16 wpm. Almost without exception, everyone
called me at or near my code speed. Although 16 wpm seems glacially slow even
when compared to my usual pedestrian 26 wpm, it may sound very fast to those
who were challenged by the code speed required of a novice or technician class
licensee.
