Had a wonderful short time operating the test. Had too many social obligations
to spend much more time than I did. The K-2 was a terrific performer and was
the first time I put it through a test. I started with my FT-920 but found I
liked the sound of the K-2 better so stuck with it.
Stateside and JA was pounding in but nothing even heard over the pole much
less
worked with QRP levels.
Alaska is not a contesters paradise with our great auroral RF sponge floating
overhead, but sure is nice to look at!
