Usually one has blamed for being a crocodile, but this ST made me an
elephant...
Heard but not contacted 5H3US, 5H3RK, VQ9DX, VK6HD. Their signals very stable
and loud at my 3 Beverage's. VQ9DX peaked 579 at his sunrise, but even if
nobody was calling him, I was not able to crack his receiver.
For sure my Gap Voyager will end in the bin as soon as possible: I have my
Cantenna dummy load and sure I do not need another 45ft. high!!
Since 1997 ST edition I missed 26 qso's and then score was 539 with a lot of US
station. Tonight US were missing here. Highest qso score: VE1ZZ, Jack, loud as
ever.
See all you in next 160 contest, with still a Gap, I fear.

ps. I thankfully all the friends who tried to suggest some improvment to my 160
antenna, but as I noted, there is few to do to upgrade a Gap.
