Comments:

Comedy of errors! I thought I had redone all of my log.cfg files with my new
callsign, but found out I missed the Sprint config file in the first exchange
of the contest, when the computer answered the station as KB8N. I did a quick
DOS command to edit the file, but lost several minutes at the beginning of the
contest.

Today, I put up one leg of an 80M inverted vee (with feedline attached). I
made a bad decision to ground it to the station ground. It picked up RF on 80M
from my double zepp and caused all kinds of wierd letters and numbers to pop
into the exchange and callsign box when I transmitted on 80M. Never had this
problem before. Apologize to all of those whose calls were butchered, and
those who had to wait while I deleted all the extra letters.

This contest just gets better and better, we all seem to be getting the hang of
it. Thanks for the great time and my best score ever, despite the problems.

73, Paul K5AF
