Great event, thanks in no small part to amazing propogation on 10 and great EU
activity. I worked EU and JA within 5 minutes of each other on Sunday on 10
SSB, something that I had never done before.
Much thanks to all of the CA expeditions and out of state stations that make
this one so much fun. I really appreciate everyone who worked me on many band
modes, including K07X(8), K9ZO(8), N3IXR(7), N0AC(7), K7SV(7), W8GN(6),
W5RL(6), NB1B(6), K9PG(6), AA3CX(6), K3CR(6). Interesting that I didn't work
more of the serious out-of-staters on more band/modes (I was active on 12),
there is clearly room for improvement :-)
Also thanks to everyone who put up with my terrible CW skills. I promise that
I am working on it and getting better slowly :-)
Finally, my deep appreciation to VY1JA, who went out of his way to find me on
15 SSB at 21:29 Sunday to complete my sweep; and to N6ZB who pointed him my
way. Just goes to show that calling CQ and begging for a needed mult works at
least some of the time!
