Comments:

My first phone contest in several years; just wanted to try out the new TH-7 we
put up last weekend. Looking back, if I wanted to be competitive I should have
went LP unassisted. Since there is no LP assisted category the current
assisted category is designed for the HP station-my 100W just didn't cut it. I
probably could have worked just as many multipliers searching and pouncing on
my own, since within 3 seconds of every packet spot of a mult. there was a
pileup of big guns. Lost 3 hours of prime JA time Saturday night and the first
2 hours of EU on Sunday morning due to thunderstorms in the area. Anyway, this
was just for fun and I had lots.
