What a blast. Tons of EU on 40-10. Steady propo except for short flareouts.
Used the same old tired dipole at 3000' and it worked great. Once again this
year condx were superb, QRM on the other end was the only limitation. Noticed
increased frenzy in the pileups, but managed to get thru a few after stopping
back a few times. Working VK6HD longpath on 20 was a treat as was VU2 on 15 and
JA on 40.
Rig: IC-765 @ 5W
Antenna: Cushcraft 40-10 rotatable dipole on the mountain
Didn't upgrade the antenna here, as planned, maybe next year.
