Equipment Description: FT-840, H.B 2 El yagi @15 ft

Comments: Only operated a few hours due to taking grandson
out in the boondocks to cut Christmas tree, decorating same, etc.
Conditions seemed pretty bad the time I was on. Only worked
one European station. Was more like a NAQP than DX contest.
Ten meters is a weird band. I was S/P'ing and decided
to call CQ for a while. I turned the beam towards JA land, called CQ
and had a stateside pileup that had the rate meter over 200.
Then the band went out like someone turned off the switch.
Strange!!!!!!! 73
