Comments:

I must admit to being stunned as to how well I get out with the Cushcraft D-3
dipole mounted in the condo attic!

40m antenna was D-3 using TS 870 tuner. (How does that work! Yes, all the
traps still appear to function!)

A few comments:

Highlights were working KH6ND & VY1JA on 40m with poor 40m antenna.

First 5 hour rates were 73/73/80/67/71.

Best Q totals on 20/15/10 ever, don't know about mults. Left to have dinner
with old high school friend & family who were in town with 20m still cooking.

Looking forward to ssb next weekend and should have a better 40m antenna...
however, don't know if my "brownie point" inventory is good enough for a full
time effort.

Uugh, one bummer... I'm used to repeating "Chris" during the phone weekend...
but with the "4 land" call and a name that begins with "CH (and an 'r' is
almost an 'a' ) I found myself being asked for multiple repeats of my name. I
sure hope "Chad" is a fad (apologies to we9v!).
