Comments:
My 80m 2el went south on me the day before the contest. I lost 3 hours
Saturday afternoon trying to put up a sloper for 80 but I could not get it
tuned. I did manage a few contacts Saturday night barefoot through a tuner.
Murphy also took out my main amp this past week so I used the backup.
Otherwise, conditions were great. This was my first time trying to incorporate
the second radio. I've got work to do in managing it better. I was able to
work everyone I called barefoot. It's time for a good checkup on my entire
set-up.
