Comments:
Finally survived the full 48 hours for a contest! Woo hoo! Each morning
around 5:00 AM local time is the groggy time, but I recover well once the EU
runs get going. I slept like a rock last night, but I'm still a bit goofy.
Down a bit from last year. I was scrambling to make 3 Meg but I just missed by
a hair! :-( The goal was to make the top ten W/VE SOA. We'll see how that
works out now. The competition is incredible! I tried last year and wound up
#11. Grr!!!
One radio used here. I have to work on the SO2R stuff. The second radio would
have been extremely useful during the slow periods! I bought a Six-Pak, but
I've had no time to prepare properly.
