I thought conditions were pretty good on 10 & 15 meters on Saturday
despite the high A & K index, but things were terrible on 10 meters on
Sunday whereas 15 sounded pretty good here. I was still hearing 9A5W
on 15 at 2 a.m. local time. Worked ZL2AMI and ZL2BR longpath on
20M which isn't unusual, but heard them both on 15 early Sunday around
1230Z which is strange. 10 meters was just plain broke on Sunday. The
only thing I was hearing was VP9GE, G-stations and then J28NH. Strange
hops and they stayed that way all morning 'til the end of the contest.

I was surprised by the lack of activity on 40 despite the band being decent.
I managed to move a few stations to 80 but otherwise no activity there. The
Ameritron AL-80B amp hammered 500 watts the whole contest with no
problems and my SB-200 hung in there at about 200W or so on 15 meters.

I worked about 20 of the 24 hours. Thanks to all that worked me and
especially those that moved bands for me.

Band QSO Pts Mults
80 10 33 9
40 56 264 40
20 169 263 65
15 208 342 84
10 103 183 64

Total 456 1085 262

Claimed Score for the moment: 284,270 pts.

Score is not totally accurate yet. I elected to sleep in late Saturday and
get
as much rest as possible before the start of the contest and did not read
my E-mail to discover the updated SM6SRW modules for WriteLog until
midway through the contest. (Thanks to SM6SRW for these modules!)
