Comments:
This is what CT is reporting, although I think there are a few mistakes in our
log regarding HQ multipliers. I expect the score will come down some.
Big time congrats to the boyz at W4R (N4PN) for a very fox bravo effort. We
were chatting with them during the contest on MSN IM and it was interesting to
hear what they were doing and what we were doing. Some times it was quite
different. Considering the size of the stations, I'de say they won the all
things considered competition.
When the sun went down, things seemed to get "normal" again. During the day,
we didn't seem to have much luck.
Signs of things to come, I suspect, as I was listening to KQ2M and others up
north run Europe on 15 meters that I couldn't hear. But I'll take that over
thunderstorms any day! And this weekend was unbelievablely quiet considering
the past month we had gone maybe 20 or 30 days straight with afternoon or
evening T-storms.
Many thanks to John and Larry for coming up and doing most of the work. I was
a bit burnt out from preperation the past 3 weeks.
