Comments:

I love SS! It's the only contest I feel my small station can actually compete
in. The key is not letting up the intensity on Sunday when things get slow. I
went to bed Saturday night 47 Q's ahead of last year but on Sunday morning I
never got a good run going like I usually do on 20. My theory is since 10 and
15 were so good everyone got spread out. I finally got a decent run, for Sunday
evening that is, at 0000 on 20. Ended up with 10 more Q's then last year.

I used the SO2R box from Array Solutions for the first time. What a great
product! It worked flawlessly with TR and my efficiency was much better on the
second radio with the SO2R versus my home brew manual switch box I used before.

Check it out in NCJ this month. It's worth every penny!

Greg K0OB
