Comments:
One of the advantages of operating from a different place each year as that
your expectations of how things "should" go aren't very well defined by
previous experience. I had a great time operating from Sakhalin Island (aka
AS-018), despite solar events, aurora, local rain static and intermittant line
noise. Hope that I managed to put Zone 19 into a few logs. The special club
callsign RI0F generated a few questions (QTH?????), but was probably beneficial
in attracting people who thought that it might have been somewhat rarer than
Asiatic Russia. UA0FZ has been a marvelous host, and his station performed
