Comments:
Conditions at least for the first day, were about as good as they get from here.
I commented to K3ZO on Friday morning about how sick the bands sounded. They
apparently made a quick recovery. 20 meters the first evening, especially 07 -
08Z, was fantastic to Europe and Japan. Being able to beam in both directions
with the stacks is a big plus.
Interesting comments from N2NT about his rate on Sunday. I was very happy
with the way things were going until 15Z Sunday when I too hit the wall. There
just was very little rate to be had on 10 or 15. In fact 15 was so crowded that
it was next to impossible to work anyone who was less than S5 unless their
timing was very good. I thought maybe I was doing something wrong but
apparently not. Guess it's just the joys of SSB contesting.
