Ended 9th place world-wide in 2001 and wanted to improve. It was actually
very
boring this year. Disappointing low QSO rates, the masses seemed to be on
10m.
Still got all 49 US states in the log just before the contest ended.
Improved
score slightly. Strategy used was to start as soon as the big guns became
audible
and stay below 21050 kHz. Equipment was TS850 with 270 Hz filter and 3 el. 3

@70m (on top of building). Amazing to work relatively many dupes... 43 on a
total
of 1222. Is PI4TUE that hard to copy (at speeds <30WPM) or are there still
many
not using logging programs...!? Thank you all for yet another fun contest!
