Thanks to the mobiles! I too only found N1RL and K1KI a couple of times.
Their
was a lack of NE activity during the day on 40m..where was everybody? I was
really expecting to find the mobiles on 40 but to no avail. This was
definetly
a Saturday contest. Thanks to the 80 something guys who called me in 40
minutes
on 14273.0 I put in only 2.5 hours on Sunday.
I ran the following equipment:
Yaesu FT-840 @ 100w, a homemade 2 el Yagi and an Inverted Vee on 40/80
