Comments:

Very poor conditions the first night. The band sounded much better the second
night, however, activity was very low. There were some amazing signals the
second night. W4MYA sounded like he was portable in Honolulu. WL7E was huge all
night. 6Y2A was solid for hours. JA activity seems to be in a downward free
fall. Every time there is a dxpedition active on the low bands the JA's come out
in amazing numbers, during contests the JA activity level is getting worse by
the year. Sunrise here had some pleasent surprises. No thunder storms in the
Pacific made for a quiet evening of calling cq over and over with the occasional
contact. Ah yes, life in the 80 meter fast lane, nothing like it.

Aloha and thanks for the qso's
Ron KH6DV
