Comments:

First contest using my new SteppIR Fluid Motion three element antenna. I like
the antenna a lot. Comparing it to my old TA-33 it replaced it is obviously
better. I used some of the features, such as the 180 degree mode, but did not
use the bi-directional mode. Band changes were quick. With this antenna I felt
much louder, especially on 20M. Unfortunately my 40-2CD 40M beam quit working
so I threw up a 40M dipole. So while I felt a definite improvement on 10-15-20,
I regressed on 40. Also I made some improvements on my SO2R operating skills,
but I still have a ways to go. Not all operators get the same benefit from SO2R
-- some of us are still working at it. As I review my log I can see some
"triplets" where I made contacts like 15M-20M-15M in the same minute, but more
common is 15M-15M-15M in one minute, 20M the next minute, and 15M-15M the next
minute. It appears SO2R is slowing me down in those cases. But, as has been
pointed out by others, it does add more fun to the mix.
