Comments:

Talk about summer conditions! 10 was basically gone. 15
closed early. Static crashes on 80 and 160 made them almost
unbearable. So this turned into mainly a 20 and 40 meter
contest even though the static crashes on 40 were S9.

When I took my first break at 6:15 PM, I was thinking about
quitting. The thunder was so strong that I disconnected my
antennas during my break. I couldn't find anything interesting
to watch on TV after dinner so I decided to go back at it. 40
quieted down a little but 80 and 160 were pretty bad. I didn't
call CQ on 80 much because I could only copy the strongest of
signals above the static crashes.

I try and convice myself that I don't need a yagi in domestic
contests. I think I could have used one on 15 this time. A LOT
of guys tried to move me to 15 and I rarely was able to complete
the QSO on 15. Frustrating.

The only MWAers I remember working were KT0R (6 bands - Thanks, DAVE)
K0PC, N0UR, and KN0V. I heard some guys calling NA0N but never heard him.

This was my lowest score ever for a full time NAQP effort. I hope to
bounce back in January.
