Comments:

Had fun in spite of the fact that the station wasn't ready to go until around
22:30 ut. Had to put PL259s on 500 feet of LMR 400 to get to the HF9V up on the
highest point on the property. Once that feat was accomplished getting a working
computer in the shack and TR log running was the next order of business. The DVK
didn't want to work...so it was set aside. Don't think I could have done more
than about 7 hours without the DVK.

Was fun to work N4GN on all bands.(wow! DX!).and meet WB4DHE on several. Even
managed to squeeze out a few Qs on 160 with the 80m loop! One highlight was
working KU4J. Tim's been fairly absent from the bands as he's been busy starting
a family. Nice to hear and work so many "new" calls, many 2 by 3s.

Considering the station presently consists of a homebrew horizontal loop and an
HF9V without a DVK (hence no SO2R!) it was really fun!
