After all the pre-contest psych up and all the mental preparation...
Got to the shack to see that the 40/80m antenna fell down... no 40/80.
Didn't have near enough time to get it back up.
Loaded up the "long wire" as it's labeled. Seemed to be way down compared to
the old crappy antenna. No biggy, I'll do it anyway.
Computer crashed every 5-10 minutes.
Even though the sun exploded, I felt loud on 20. I even thought I was getting
the hang of the sprint for once. After 30 reboots of the laptop, it wasn't
worth the trouble. Time to erase the HD and make it a radio only computer.
I hope to get these problems fixed before the ssb sprint.
It was still fun though. :)
