Another 4 hours of contesting bliss. I hope to be more rested and alert next
time, hi! My lack of energy seemed to show as my rate declined with every
hour.
It ground to a halt with about 5 minutes to go stuck at 298. So close to 300
yet so far. I found 80 to be a difficult place to be, unlike previous
outings.
My fantastic QSO of the event was when VY1JA called me like a ghost hovering
above my aural threshold. When he sent "J" for his name I was sure I'd
miscopied something. Thanks for a great contact, Jay!
Caltech's callsign, W6UE, got a rest this go around. I figured you all would
think I was Mike, hi!
