Conditions were not so good, but managed to work most of the VK/ZL stations I
heard, at least after a few tries. ZL6QH was strong on most bands, but took a
while to break through to for most of my four QSOs with Quartz Hill.
Worked booming KH6ND on five bands (as usual). Huge signal up here every time
out, Mike.
Only worked seven ZLs, and 11 VKs total -- thought there would be a few more
VK/ZL stations to hear from VE7-land. 3D2/W7DRA wasn't strong but he was in
there working lots of stations. Heard strong signals from FO0, but alas not in
the contest.
Getting geared up for IL QSO Party and JARTS coming up, then CQWW CW next month.
Can hardly wait.
