Comments:
This was my first serious effort in this contest, and I hope there are many more
to come ! Blew the start of the contest, got the station ready in the morning
and went out ot shovel snow. Planning on a 2PM start, I came back into the shack
around 1:15 to check the bands and found that the contest had already started.
OOps, guess I need to keep better track of the time !
Called it a night at about 06:30Z with 1000 Q's in the log.
Lots of DX activity, of my 1912 QSO's, 779 were DX and 66 were VE's. Most of the
DX was Europe, only a couple of JA's. JH4UYB was 20 over on 20 meters but could
not wake anyone else up over there. VK6HD called in with a huge 15 over signal
Sunday afternoon Longpath on 40, thanks Mike !
80 Meters was great, nice opening to Europe and the west coast at the same time
Saturday Night.
I missed DEL, YT and NWT for sections. Hope noone missed RI !
