Pleasantly surprised by the band condx this year with lower than usual levels of
band noise and good, early openings into Europe on 20-10M. If I had to quibble,
Pacific/Asia openings on 10 and 80 weren?t really there and topband condx were
marginal. But all in all, propagation was quite good. It was great to hear all
the qrp callers, and amazing so many got through on 40 meters. Another nice
surprise on 40M were many ZL/VK longpath callers. 40M was quite open to Europe
2.5 hours before my sunset.
