Comments:
Was like a "one-armed wall-paper hanger" all weekend...but still fun. Inverter
to keep battery charged in computer put a 25db over hash in radio...while this
was going on there was not much I could do except listen to CD's. XYL had a
conflict and couldn't drive this year, so I missed out on 7 counties that I
had
planned to hit....finishing both nights about 100 miles from home! NF4A,
HA0DU,
VE3NBJ, K5YAA, W6OAT, K5OT, W9WUU and many others were always there when I
changed counties..Happy to give Steve, HA0DU one of his last ones (Glascock)
even if I was about 3 hours behind the time I had hoped to be there. Ran up
on NY4N/m and his XYL as I got the highway to run Greene County...had a nice
visit and before I left ND4V came up also...one more and we'd have had a
hamfest
Also, even tho I didn't know it, passed K4MUT/m in Warren County. Knew it was
him when I checked 20 meters and my S-meter was pinned..
Thanks for a lot of fun and we'll do it again next year - just better!
