Comments:
Nice opening on 6 at the start of the contest, but marred by horrible
thunderstorm static. I could hear my towers discharging into the air! On Sunday
it dried out, and the power line noise returned. Lost the 1296 preamp a few
hours before the end. Also discovered that the Yaesu FT 736R with four modules
installed can overheat - causing it to go deaf on one or more bands!
