Comments:
Not a serious entry, however first time from an island. I didn't really plan
this, just drove to Texel, hoping to find a good place to operate from and I
did. Just handed out EU-038 and enjoyed the pileups, I didn't try to find many
multipliers but to give as many stations EU-038! Operation took place from the
car, the only antenna was a 40m-dipole with open feeder which was matched on all
bands - with more or less success. Highbands seemed to be poor but running on
40/80m was great fun. Despite my very long callsign most stations seemed to have
little difficulties with copying it - I expeced it to be worse.
It was nice to meet old and new friends again, looking forward for IOTA 2004!
