Comments:
Disappointed in conditions. They seemed better than last year for the first 11
hours of the contest and they then deteriorated. I never heard any 10 meter
activity and last year there were some South Americans worked. 15 was better
than last year to start with, but closed early and was barely open when the
contest ended. 20 closed to Europe early and last year we had Europe all night
on 20. 40 M was the biggest disappointment as a new antenna seems to do well
into Europe. But, all I could hear were a few big signal stations on 40.
Worked all I heard except IM0M, who seemed unable to hear across the pond. 80 M
was very noisy, but did get DL5AWI there. Biggest disappointment was CS5C who
had a very loud signal, but seemed unable to hear any NA callers. See you all
next year. It would be nice to get to an IOTA island for this contest some
