Operated this weekend's event from my work QTH over in New Mexico.
FT-1000MP, 67' wire Zep up 25 ft. fed with twin RG-8 coax from ATU to base of
support mast, then connects to 25 ft. of 450 ohm ladder line leading up to apex
of antenna. Using a Johnson KW Match Box balanced antenna tuner in shack to
match antenna on all bands 40 thru 10 meters. Simple...but seems to work very
well from this QTH....go figure?! Used a HF-2V vertical on 80 meters.
