Comments:
Pete Hills, W0HXB asked that I copy his written log onto my Write Log contest
software and submit an e-log of his contest operation during the CW NAQP. Pete
is an old cw traffic man who is still involved in handling traffic (messages) as
a public service. After many years of trying to get Pete to operate the NAQP -
which is a replacement of the old CD parties that Pete and I used to operate
from WY - I finally got my old friend to give the NAQP a try. He did and tells
me that he had a lot of fun.
Grand Mesa Contesters of Colorado thanks Pete for the points for the Rough
Riders GMCC team #4 and for joining a bunch of Colorado stations on for the
NAQP! So, will keep working on him to give future NAQP cw tests a try.
Pete used a 100w and a center fed 80m dipole (fed via twin lead/tuner) on all
bands.
