Comments:

Wore an old FRC shirt and had my best finish ever. Condx were good, even on 80m
where QRN was pleasantly low. Spent first 11 minutes on 40m (W4AN suggested
starting on 40m) and then went to 20m which netted 92 Q's in the first hour. As
time progressed, I got the feeling that there was not a high concentration of
stations, as there were a lot of wide open spaces and CQing was not very
productive.

Some stations sign their call at the end of the QSO when the frequency is NOT
theirs to keep which, of course, creates confusion. I have my F2 and F3
messages programmed with each message format - F2 if I am keeing the frequency
and F3 if I must QSY. I suspect that most stations are doing something similar
but, if not, they should, hi.
