Uggggh
Family emergency, always try to get to the station early to make sure everything
is a "go" - Not last night - got to the rig right as the contest started,
software booted up about a minute in - amp was still warming up by the 3rd
QSO...
...double ugggh - broken rotor - 40 beam stuck towards EU it IS very directional
for a 2L - frequnetly got beat out - not used to that :-)
....triple uggggh - 80 meter antenna did not work - could not even raise the
locals using an alternate antenna
Only upside was a decent mult of 51 - That and some reassurance CW is not a dead
art - saw a lot of it practiced well last night! "wait til next time!"
