Comments:
Outstanding activity across the state. 19 different mobiles worked in 5 or more
counties. All doing a great job covering alot real estate. 15 or more counties
logged with these stations. K5CWR(34), K5CX(15), K5NA(17), K5OT(24) <- great 20
meter CW ears, K5P(19), K5WAF(15), KK5LO(19), KS5V(22) <- all CW, NØRQ(18),
W3DYA(15), and W5SB(15). Looked at the counties to be covered map before the
party and saw Red River not marked. W3DYA showed in RRIV for a nice surprise.
Missed an hour from noon to one on Saturday. Lost at least 1/2 a dozen mults.
Heard several missed multipliers just as they left the county. Have to believe
all 254 counties were represented.
Most signals on 20 from NE Oklahoma were just a whisper in the wind except
K5WAF/m and KS5V/m. They were 10 over at times. Several fixed stations on 20
CW also strong but for many Qs had to hang around until the pileups subsided.
Only 20 SSB contact was a mult El Paso. Looked at 15 only a couple of times.
Nothing but Europeans.
Thanks to the sponsors and all the Texas stations for a grand party.
