Comments:
This was a field-day style operation from the top of the Dan Panorama Hotel
in Tel Aviv, Israel. Antennas were a R5 vertical and dipoles. This operation
could not have taken place without the invaluable assistance of Aron, 4X1FQ,
Ziv, 4X1UK, the Israel Amateur Radio Club and the incredibly friendly locals
who welcomed me with open arms. The Yaesu FT897 and Tokyo High Power 500W solid
state amplifier worked flawlessly. The whole station fit nicely into a Pelikan
1650 case.
