Comments:
Score was down about 20% from last year. QSO totals on both 10 and 80 were down
substantially. From others comments about good conditions this year, I'm not
sure how explain the drop, but I just didn't seem to have the nice bursts of
productive runs I've had in previous years. To me the overall activity level
seemed slightly down.
Had used up all my off time by the time the solar flare hit. Wow! Had never
experienced the sudden and dramatic silence on the bands like that before. Like
many others never came across NL or NT.
Nevertheless SS is an event I have always looked forward to since my first one
in 1955.
73, Bob
