Comments:
The conditions were not as good as last year. Very frustrating to have the high
bands so poor. Couldn't really take advantage of my new beam. Ran most of the
contest on 80 and 40. Had some great rates at times on those bands. Probably
the best was getting into a row with the pig farmers on 80 on Sunday evening.
Hard to believe hams can be like those guys. But this was fun. Had all the
"rare" sections but NT call me! That was cool. Was hoping to be able to pull
off top spot in 9th call area for unlimited but N2BJ and WE9V both had other
plans! :-) Oh well, all in good fun.
