Comments:
Strange conditions on Saturday. The low bands ran long-couldn't work anyone
closer than 300 miles although they were very loud here. The west coast was the
same-loud here but no exchange/then it reversed, and I lost qsos to west coast
stations. Didn't get OR until Sunday afternoon, when stations I had tried on
Sat. for 10 minutes to get as multis called me. Sunday daytime was a pleasure
with contacts 0to1500 miles possible. Nice for a LP to hold a 40M frequency for
some hours. Sunday night the same as Saturday, with propagation going only to
south-20 over 9 in GA but deaf in KY and closer. CA remained open both Sat and
Sun nights on 40 and 80.
Never heard KL7, but KH6 easy??? Missed ND, VE4 and gave up the pileup on VY1. I
did break the pileup on VO1 for NL. Lots of VE2 from here this time.
Tnx for contacts. Sorry to VE7 station on Sat. You got my exchange but I lost
you in the noise and never got yours. Tried for several min. No contact!!
Only a few VE3 heard and worked. Go, go, CCO!
